I started inside Towers Perrin (now WTW) when executive compensation was still being invented as a proper consulting discipline. I moved to Singapore and founded Carrots Consulting in 2000. I've sat inside the boardroom as a non-executive director and advised from outside it as a specialist. Both perspectives shape this voice.
