Johan Grundlingh.

I started inside Towers Perrin (now WTW) when executive compensation was still being invented as a proper consulting discipline. I moved to Singapore and founded Carrots Consulting in 2000. I've sat inside the boardroom as a non-executive director and advised from outside it as a specialist. Both perspectives shape this voice.

Governuity is the personal brand. It exists because the conversations that matter most in executive compensation rarely happen in public. Big 4 firms won't criticise boards they also audit. In-house teams can't call out their own committees. So the uncomfortable truths stay whispered, and nothing changes.

I decided to say them out loud instead. This site is that voice. The actual delivery happens at carrotsalign.com.
